Saturday March 28th, 10am-3.30pm

NOW POSTPONED DUE TO GOVERNMENT CORONA VIRUS ADVICE

This workshop will be rescheduled for later in the year when the situation around Coronavirus is clearer. Participants who have already paid for a place can transfer this to the new date. We will contact you as soon as a new date is fixed.

This exciting collaboration between Carole of Tuckshop Flowers and Judith of Pollen Floral Joy, is aimed at DIY brides and new or established florists wishing to explore creative techniques for naturalistic designs.

Come and join us for a Saturday immersed in beautiful blooms and learn about planning naturally gorgeous wedding flowers for your own big day or for someone else’s.

We’ll be joined in the afternoon by Sam of Rose and Rainbow Photography who will capture your beautiful arrangements and all the action as it unfolds – a great chance to get some fab shots for posterity! (She took the lovely shot we used below)

We’ll cover:

  • estimating stem counts – how many flowers will you need?
  • planning a preparation time line
  • techniques for binding bouquets and buttonholes
  • what to think about when planning table centrepieces

We’ll make (and so will you):

  • a relaxed, natural bridal bouquet – depending on your level of floristry experience this could be either a simple hand-tied style, or a more challenging wide escaping style bouquet with ‘secret support’.
  • buttonholes (like bouquets in miniature!)
  • a foam-free table centrepiece bowl

Costs and booking

£180.00 per person. Includes all materials, refreshments a buffet lunch and your flowers to take home at the end of the workshop.
