Visit Quirky Flowers and be inspired by this Staffordshire cutting patch. Find out more about how and what Pam grows then use her beautiful blooms in an afternoon practical to make gorgeous natural funeral arrangements using foam-free techniques.

This workshop is aimed at new and established flower growers and florists wishing to build up the funeral side of their business, and to offer a range of creative, natural style, eco-friendly designs. (As the workshop will cover the business side of funeral flowers as well as practical floristry, it is not suitable for non-florists wishing only to learn about flower arranging.)

It covers:

  • a tour of the Quirky cutting patch (bring wellies/suitable sturdy footwear)
  • what to grow for Spring flowers and foliage
  • the changing face of funerals
  • working with funeral directors
  • working with the bereaved
  • marketing funeral designs – getting found
  • featuring funeral work on social media and your website
  • a floral demonstration – covering a natural sheaf, foam free casket spray mechanics, silver birch heart design
  • practical hands on foam-free floristry session
  • instructions handout for my ‘Miriam’ casket spray design

Cost: £140 per person including lunch and all materials. £10 discount refunded on the day for Flowers from the Farm members.
